Course: Beauty and wellness Course: Beauty is in every part of the body, but we’re not always aware of it, writes the former New York Times reporter and author of Beauty and the Bizarre.
“If you’re one of the millions of people who suffer from chronic illness and who don’t seek professional care, then you have a greater chance of having an unbalanced lifestyle and chronic health problems than most of us,” he says.
“I know of several people who have never received treatment for their conditions and have not only never had an uneventful medical visit but have been hospitalized.”
With a focus on healthy eating and exercise, the course focuses on the “beauty of eating and living,” while the emphasis is on “being active” and avoiding “toxic” food and chemicals, which are known to be linked to chronic illness.
This is a good way to start, says Ms. Klim, who is a registered dietitian and a personal trainer.
“When you have so many things to eat, you don’t have time to sit down and think about what you should eat or where you should go.
“You can do so much with it” says Ms Klim. “
If you have some time and you think, ‘I don’t want to do this anymore, but I need to get back to what I do best, and it’s not just about food,’ then it can be really helpful.”
“You can do so much with it” says Ms Klim.
“It is a great way to make it part of your life.
You can do such a wonderful job with it, and the person who’s going to be doing the most with it is the one who’s in the best shape and is going to do the most for you.”
While the course is designed to “teach people how to live a healthier life,” it also has a “sense of fun,” according to Ms. Todhunter.
“We’re trying to give people something to do that they haven’t been able to do before.
It’s a really fun way to go out, and you can do something that you’re really passionate about, or something that’s really rewarding, like riding your bike.”
The course, which is free and available for anyone, has been designed with “everyone in mind.”
